The syllabus for the Odisha Pathani Samanta Mathematics Scholarship Test (PMST) is mainly based on the Mathematics curriculum of the previous class level taught in Odisha schools.

- 60 MCQ questions — 60ଟି ବହୁବିକଳ୍ପୀୟ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ
- Total marks: 150 — ସମୁଦାୟ ମାର୍କ: 150
- OMR-based exam — OMR ଆଧାରିତ ପରୀକ୍ଷା
- Correct answer: +2.5 marks — ସଠିକ ଉତ୍ତର ପାଇଁ +2.5 ମାର୍କ
- Wrong answer: −0.25 marks — ଭୁଲ ଉତ୍ତର ପାଇଁ −0.25 ମାର୍କ
